Motorized Lateral Arm Awning
Our notes
ShadeTree, now ShadeFlex, lists this motorized lateral arm awning in an enclosed cassette with an extension of "up to 23 ft," the longest extension figure stated for any awning in our list. The page does not give a maximum width, a price or how the motor is powered, so a quote is needed. Mounting options are "Wall, roof and under eave." The seller says it can "intelligently adapt to weather conditions, providing automated adjustments based on sunlight, wind, or rain." It fits someone who needs deep coverage.

Copied exactly from the seller's page, read 2026-11-01. Sellers don't test wind the same way, so this can't be compared with another seller's figure. More on wind wording.
How it mounts depends on your wall, fascia or beam. Confirm it with the maker or a licensed installer.
